We are kicking off 2018 in a big way, with free shipping for Dealers and Preferred Customers in the U.S. and Canada. We have wanted to do this for a long time, and you’ve been asking for it, so we’re really excited that we’re able to introduce these great new benefits for you. And we’re doing it without raising your prices.
We know what you’re thinking – we did raise P.C. prices – but we didn’t raise them to cover the cost of free shipping. In fact, the P.C. price increase doesn’t cover the costs we will incur to provide free shipping to P.C.s. They are truly getting a great deal. We increased P.C. pricing to create more separation between the P.C. Program and the Dealer and Retail Account Programs, and to recover some increased costs. If you’re selling out of your own inventory, this gets you another 5 percent profit. If you’ve hit roadblocks with retail accounts that were upset that P.C.s paid the same prices they did, you no longer have that problem. You still have a great P.C. Program to sell, and P.C.s still save up to 25 percent on AMSOIL products.
In the Dealer survey conducted in 2017, your number-one request was for us to do more to increase brand recognition across North America. We’re launching a major initiative to do just that through digital marketing and enhancements to amsoil.com. You’ll read more about some of these changes in this issue of AMSOIL Magazine. The result will be a better experience for customers, better conversion rates and more buying customers assigned to qualified Dealers.
